SCENIC Chester to Neston - River Dee Cycle Route
Description
Chester to Neston, a great family friendly cycle route along the River Dee. Starting at the riverside in the ancient city of Chester you cycle round the UKs oldest racecourse then follow the River Dee through to the RSPB Burton Mere Wetlands and then into the historic market town of Neston, where you end at the Harp Inn.
The journey is nearly all off road along flat, paved cycle paths making this a car free, safe and fun family tip for all ages. The start point is a popular Chester tourist spot, Burton marsh makes for some great bird watching and you can get up close with the local sheep.
Theres also plenty of food and drink places to visit in Chester and the Harp Inn at the end is a good spot to have a drink and take in the views across to Wales.

There's plenty of Parking at the start of the route in Chester at the Little Roodee Car Park.
